The slide show displays the progression of the plastering and some of the lime plasters unique characteristics. You will notice, as the plaster cured, the intensity of the color settled in, yet the richness remains. We are convinced Rialto’s authentic lime plaster is the finest available. It is fifth home in Colorado to have Authentic Venetian Plaster on the exterior.
This aging process is accomplished entirely with the authentic Italian/Venetian Lime plasters. It is a process developed by Old World Designs to replicate actual ancient walls that you would see in Venice, Florence, Ravenna and other great locations, towns and villages of Italy and Europe. The seasoned slaked lime plaster, traditionally produced in Trieste, Italy, was troweled to a very smooth finish. You can see the quality of the lime plaster, attracting the eye as the sunlight is absorbed and refracted back. The depth of color saturation and surface translucency is unmatchable with any other product.
