This beautifully designed contemporary home shows the great versatility of Authentic Venetian Plaster. This plaster, “Epoca Spatolato” is an all natural lime and marble dust plaster that can be used to create a wide variety of effects. Here we show a wonderful marriage of this true Old World decorative finish and modern contemporary architecture. I would call this color a warm “gray white.” This color’s “warmth” is a good example of an inherent quality of the authentic Venetian lime plasters; their absorption and refraction of light; accentuating their beauty, richness, and depth of color, bringing warmth to any color. No paint exists that can accomplish this natural phenomena.

The mottling of the color is a natural effect of the plaster. It has the appearance of having texture but is almost as smooth as glass to touch.
